The following is Technical Analysis for the Dow Jones ( DJIA ) for 4/15/09Dow Jones Support & Resistance Levels - April 15, 2009
Resistance Levels: 8000, 8113, 8300, 8500
Support Levels: 7903, 7700, 7500

The Dow Jones was down Tuesday but managed to close over the 10 day moving average of 7903. This figure will move higher tomorrow but the Dow is showing slight signs of exhaustion. I still have my eye on the 50 day moving average and will buy pullbacks around 7500 if we get them. A close above 8000 will get me to buy stocks once again. As of now, I remain on the sidelines. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 7920 on 4/14/09, as the stock market fell on weaker then expected retail sales data and the fact the Goldman Sachs ( GS ) fell after reporting earnings yesterday. The Dow Jones Futures were weak this morning and got even weaker after a surprisingly bearish retail sales number. The stock market fell more after President Obama gave a speech on the economy but we rallied after Ben Bernanke's speech.
Dendreon ( DNDN ) was the story stock of the day as the company released positive clinical trial data on their prostate cancer drug, Provenge. Shares of DNDN were up almost 300% in pre market at one point but then sold of to $16. Here is my take on Dendreon for tomorrow.
All eyes will be on Intel ( INTC ) earnings tonight! This will set the tone for Wednesday.

Financial Bull 3X ( FAS ) - Will be watching $7.80 support very closely Wednesday.
Wells Fargo ( WFC ) - $17.50 must hold on a closing basis, or more weakness will follow
Citigroup ( C ) - Watching $3.89 Support, if things get out of hand, $3.35 could be tested again.
Bank of America ( BAC ) - Needs to hold $10
General Electric ( GE ) - $12.50-$12.53 resistance failed twice, watching pullbacks to $11

Dendreon ( DNDN ) - DNDN came out with positive trial data on Provenge, the prostate caner drug. If $16 holds and DNDN trades back over short term resistance of $18, I think it could go back into the $20's. This is a risky stock though! Check out what analysts are saying.
Agfeed Industries ( FEED ) - Not much happened with FEED on Tuesday but was up in a down market. FEED bounced off $3.00 and broke through the high of day on Tuesday afternoon. Last trade $3.40. The volume is still there, over 3.7 million shares traded with one hour left to go.

We are half way through the trading session today, 4/14/09. The top news story has to be the retail sales data that was released this morning. March retail sales fell 1.1% in which leading economists expected a positive sales figure. Tonight we wait a market moving earnings report out of Intel ( INTC ).
Financials: After gapping up huge this morning, Citigroup ( C ) is falling back to support in the low $4's. Bank of America ( BAC ) is now having trouble holding $11 while Financial Bull ( FAS ) is having trouble in the $9's.

The company terminated the VITAL-1 and VITAL-2 Phase III clinical trials of GVAX immunotherapy, its lead product program, for the treatment of prostate cancer.

AIG FRE FNM CTIC Stock April 14, 2009
After an incredible Goldman Sachs ( GS ) earnings report last night, Shares of Citigroup ( C ) are flying in pre market. This is causing some other government backed stocks to surge as well.

American International Group ( AIG ): AIG stocks is trading at $1.61 in pre market trading. I am watching support at $1.54, if this continues to hold, look for the $2.00 high to be tested. If $2 is closed over, look for $2.12 and then $2.84. Support at $1.00 has been solid over the past month.
Freddie Mac ( FRE ) - FRE stock is trading at $1.04....watch the major resistance level of $1.50 but a close over $1.25 will get Freddie moving.
Fannie Mae ( FNM ) - FNM stock is trading at $1.03 in pre market, I am also watching $1.25 and major resistance at $1.43....a break up through this level would be huge!!
Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTIC) - CTIC crashed yesterday but is rebounded on the following news. I won't get interested again until CTIC breaks up through $0.45.
Also: Cell Therapeutics Initiating Rolling NDA Submission for Pixantrone
Etrade Financial ( ETFC ) - Etrade is gapping over the 200 day moving average at $1.97. This will act as support during the trading day today. Next resistance levels are $2.24 and $2.85

The following is a little Citigroup ( C ) stock technical analysis for April 14, 2009Citigroup Support & Resistance Levels - 4/14/09
Resistance Levels: $4.32, $5.00
Support Levels: $3.89, $3.60, $3.35
Citigroup is gapping over $4.00 in pre market and appears as though it will open over the $3.89 resistance. This level will now become support. If Citigroup can hold and remain over $4, I see the next resistance being tested at $4.32.
If $4.32 turns out to be no big deal, I think Citi can eventually get back up to $5.00 but this is where there will be a major battle. There will be a lot of sellers located at $5. It seems as though everyone is watching Libor rates these days. Today's Libor Rates for 4/14/09, are: 1 Month Libor Rate - 0.453%. & 3 Month Libor Rate - 1.122%. The overnight Libor rate is 0.268%. As you can see, Libor Rates have changed today, April 14, 2009. The overnight and 1 month libor went up while the 3 month libor dropped.
